Extending Our #GivingTuesday Into The Holidays!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing us so much love and support during our #GivingTuesday campaign.
As you may know, Simbi Foundation proudly participated in #GivingTuesday this year. We launched a month-long campaign with the goal of raising $13,000 to fund the educational technology (EduTech) of a BrightBox, to be installed in the Bidibidi Refugee Settlement in northern Uganda next year.
#GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires individuals, families and organizations to use the power of generosity to transform their communities.
We spread the word about #GivingEduTech through various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and TikTok. Take a look at a few of the videos we created for #GivingTuesday!
The support on our social media was overwhelmingly positive, and because of your generosity, we have been able to raise $6,214 so far. Your donations will allow us to support an additional 2,868 students attending school in the Bidibidi Refugee Settlement.
We truly cannot thank you enough, and we are honored to be part of such a caring community. From our Uganda to our Vancouver team, thank you so much for making this our most successful #GivingTuesday to date.
